About UsThe National Minority Clinical Research Association (NMCRA) is a 501(c) 3, non-profit organization which was founded in 2007 and is based in Fairfield, NJ. The organization is composed of a diverse group of medical professionals who are involved in the treatment of, education concerning, clinical training in, and research related to multiple diseases which provide an unfair burden on minority patient populations. The mission of the organization is to reduce racial/ethnic disparities in health care prevention, clinical treatment, and health related research outcomes in those populations. The organization intends to successfully accomplish its goals by providing medical education and support to medical providers serving the minority community, minority patients, and friends and family members of those patients, in order to increase their knowledge of the latest treatments for minority related diseases. They will also identify, design, implement, and successfully complete clinical trials addressing issues of clinical importance in minority patient populations improve the care of people living with diseases which place an unfair burden on minority populations through, education, clinical training and research for health clinicians serving this population.
